Information: Little Elena came to us with very little information and a sad glimpse of broken humanity. Her mama had died when she was two months old, and nobody seems to know who her daddy is. Her grandma, Germaine, decided to care for her, but like most Haitian grandmas, she was rather poor....and baby formula costs a lot. So, to the clinic they came, and asked if we could help. Elena was very small, just around 6 pounds at 3 months old, but with some TLC and better nutrition, though still tiny, she's looking good today.
